Memorial Day

I like to spend some time each patriotic holiday making some cards for Operation Write Home – it is my small of way of saying thank you to those that serve our country every day. Last night I sealed up my box of 151 cards I’ve made since January (that was my last box) and got started on my next box! Hubby keeps asking me how many cards I’ve sent them – it is 1,773 as of today. Since a girl needs goals, I now plan on crossing the 2,000 mark this calendar year.

Patriotic Thinking of You

I really like making clean and simple cards; this one I cased this one from Paula¬†using up scraps from her card kit. I’m also linking this to the CAS-ual Fridays challenge this week.

What a wonderful CAS card with the good old red, white & blue! I just love those buttons with the ribbon woven into the holes! NJ!
